Delete your GetDriver account
Use this page to request deletion of your GetDriver customer or driver account and associated personal data. Uninstalling the GetDriver app does not delete your account.
Steps to request deletion
- Enter the email address or phone number associated with your GetDriver account.
- Submit the form below. We will contact you using your registered account details to verify ownership.
- Complete the verification instructions. We may first need to resolve active bookings, payouts, refunds, or account balances.
- After verification and resolution of outstanding activity, we will delete or anonymise the eligible account data and confirm completion.
For your security, submitting this form does not immediately delete an account. GetDriver will never ask for
your password as part of this process.
Data deleted and retained
When an eligible request is completed, we delete or anonymise:
- account profile and contact information;
- driver profile, vehicle, licence, verification documents, and uploaded profile images;
- saved locations, device tokens, and app preferences; and
- support content and booking details that are not required for a retained legal or transaction record.
Transaction, payment, payout, receipt, tax, and accounting records are retained for up to seven years after the relevant transaction or reporting period where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes. Access to retained records is restricted, and the account cannot be used after deletion. Information subject to a legal hold may be kept until that obligation or dispute ends.
